Bridal

Q. Where does appointments/trials take place?

A. All appointments/trials are done at your own home or venue, as I run my business on a mobile basis.

Q. Do I need a hair trial and how far in advance shall I book one?

A. Trials are highly recommended as you get to see exactly how your hair will look before the big day. I would suggest at least 3 months before your wedding day although you can book a trial at any point before your wedding day.

Q. How shall I prepare for my trial?

A. Wash your hair the day before your trial and have it free from any products. Bring all hair accessories that you will be wearing on your wedding day.

Q. How long will my trial take and is it limited to how many styles I can have?

A. Trials are 2.5 hours long, this allows enough time for a thorough chat beforehand and to try out multiple styles.

Q. Does the whole bridal party need a trial and can they be present during the trial?

A. Trials for others can certainly be arranged although they are not necessarily needed. Anyone can be present at your trial as it’s a special time for you.

Beauty

Q. Do I need to shower/shave before a waxing appointment?

A. Yes to showering. Please make sure the hair is no longer than a grain of rice to be waxed, this will minimise pain throughout the treatment.

Q. Do I need to wear a face mask during eye treatments?

A. If wearing a mask would make you more comfortable then yes you can.

Q. During a massage will I need to be fully undressed?

A. For a back massage I recommend removing clothing on the top half of your body, however you do not need to be fully undressed throughout the treatment.

Q. What do I need to provide for beauty treatments?

A. I provide all products and equipment, if I could have access to running water and a electrical socket plus enough space for my beauty bed that is all I need.

Hair

Q. Do I need to wash my hair for a cut?

A. If you could wash it just before I arrive that would be great however I can wash it for you if requested before my arrival.

Q. How does washing out a colour work?

A. I do have a portable wash basin I can bring with me, I can wash your hair over your bath or you can have the option to wash the colour out yourself.

Q. How often should I be having my hair cut?

A. Depending on your hair growth every 8-12 weeks.

Training

Q. What qualification/certificate will I gain?

A. You will receive a certificate of participation to show your clients. This is not an accredited qualification.

Q. What happens if I cannot make my training day due to emergency?

A. A fee will have already been taken to secure your training day, if notice is given up to 1 week before training date then your fee will be moved to another date. If it is within 1 week of the training day you will be required to pay another fee to secure another date;

Q. Will I receive support and guidance after my training?

A. Yes, I will continue to mentor and guide you through any questions you may have. I will also be available for any further training you may need.

General

Q. How does cancellations work?

A. For bridal cancellations there is terms and conditions stated in the booking contract which is agreed to upon signing of the contract (if you would like to know please request a copy for you to read). For general hair and beauty appointments if you cancel twice with less than 48 hours notice then I will require a non refundable booking fee of 20% of the appointment total to secure your next appointment.

Q. Can I add on treatments last minute to an appointment?

A. You can, however I will need at least 24 hours notice for this. Partly due to making sure I have enough time to complete all of the treatments before my next client and also to make sure I have the correct products and equipment with me to perform the treatment.

Q. Can I add on extra people to a bridal booking even after I have paid a booking fee?

A. You can add as many extra people as you would like, however please do so in advance so I can allocate enough time to do them or I can arrange an assistant if needed.
